Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was left frustrated after his side conceded two goals in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Genoa in Serie A.

The game at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris saw the home team take an early lead in the 20th minute through Alessandro Voicco. But the ‘Big Snake’ scored twice to overtake them through Marcus Thuram in the 30th and 82nd minutes. As the team looked to secure victory, but were denied a penalty in stoppage time. Junior Messias’ first shot was saved by Yann Sommer. But he managed to follow up and score.

The Italian boss believes both goals conceded should not have happened, from the first. Which Yann Sommer missed and the penalty, which was awarded due to Yann Bisek’s handball UFABET

“It’s disappointing, in my opinion. The players played seriously, focused on the game. We had a good first half, we created a lot of chances but unfortunately conceded the goal. It was an accident. Then we recovered well.” Inzaghi told DAZN.

“In the second half we moved the ball a bit slower. Then in the 84th minute we scored the goal that gave us the lead. But I’m still not satisfied. After the goal, we should have played better with the ball.”

“Conceding two goals made it difficult to win the game, credit to Genoa but it was a draw we are not happy with considering what we created.”

“With a team like ours, taking the lead in the 84th minute. We shouldn’t have conceded another goal, especially with a goal like that.”
